How to choose a corporate gift in the UAE

Silver coffee set · 350 ml

In the Emirates a business gift is rarely about the object alone. It carries the culture of hospitality that shapes every meeting here: the coffee offered before anything is discussed, the time taken to ask about family, the guest who is never allowed to leave empty-handed. A good corporate gift belongs to that culture. A branded power bank does not.

Choose something that will be used

The gifts that are remembered are the ones that come out again. A coffee cup and saucer used for the next guest, a tray that holds dates every evening, a set of prayer beads carried in a pocket for years. Each time it is used, the recipient remembers who gave it. That is the whole point of a corporate gift, and it is why hospitality pieces in silver work so well here.

Match the gift to the relationship

For a wider team, choose pieces in the same family so nobody feels ranked: prayer beads, a single coffee cup and saucer, a small engraved tray. Our edit of gifts under 5,000 AED was put together for exactly this.

For senior partners, board members or a long relationship that matters, choose a piece with presence: a coffee set for the majlis, a water pitcher, a keepsake box for the desk. One substantial piece says more than several small ones.

A Qur'an bound in silver is one of the most respected gifts in the region, but it is a personal one. Give it only to Muslim recipients you know well, and present it with care.

Etiquette that matters

Avoid anything connected to alcohol, and think twice before choosing items that carry images of people or animals. Present the gift with your right hand, or with both hands. Do not expect it to be opened in front of you; many people prefer to open gifts later. A short handwritten card in English, or in Arabic if you can, is always noticed.

Timing

The natural moments are Eid Al Etihad on 2 December, the end of the year, Ramadan and Eid. Order early: companies that leave it to the last week usually end up with whatever is left. We deliver free across the UAE in 2 to 5 days, and for larger orders we confirm quantities and presentation with you on WhatsApp before anything is paid.
