About ATHAR

ATHAR is a small gallery of applied art for the UAE. We bring together silver for hospitality, the home and the gifts people remember: coffee and tea sets, trays, pitchers, prayer beads, Qur’ans in silver cases and keepsake boxes.

Made by hand, one piece at a time

Every piece is shaped, engraved and finished by hand. The engraving is cut line by line, and many pieces are lined with black niello, gilded or set with enamel. That is why no two pieces are exactly alike, and why a piece can take days or weeks to complete.

Solid silver

Our pieces are made of solid 875 or 925 silver, not silver plate. The silver standard and the weight are stated on the page of each piece, together with its size or volume where it matters.

Chosen for life in the Emirates

The collection is selected for the way people host and give in the UAE: coffee for the majlis, tea for the family table, trays for dates and sweets, prayer beads and Qur’ans for Ramadan and Eid, and pieces to mark a wedding, a new home or a new role.

How ordering works

Choose the pieces you like and send a request from the bag, or write to us directly. We confirm availability and the final total with you by WhatsApp or email before any payment. Delivery is free to any address in the UAE and takes 2 to 5 days.
